چکیده

Background: Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) has been tested in a wide variety of surgeries with promising outcomes. However, there is need for standardized, evidence-informed approach to both the development new ERAS Society guidelines, and adaptation revision existing guidelines. Developing countries have limited resources deserve every effort improve economic status. Aim Study: evaluate perinatal maternal outcomes ERAS® versus routine care protocols women undergoing elective cesarean section (CS) lower middle-income country ranked as third most performing CS worldwide using multidisciplinary team (MDT) management. Design: A prospective randomized Controlled Trial. Setting: Outpatient department (OPD) labor ward at Woman’s Health hospital, Assiut University, Egypt. Participants: Healthy pregnant planned (300 women) were randomly divided into study group offered protocol control regular care. Results: Repeat was main indication groups without significant difference (89 cases (59.3%) 75 (50%) respectively). Other indications included cephalopelvic disproportion 17 (11%) 19 (12.6%), placenta previa 28 (18.6%) 34 (22.6%) cases, DM 11 (7%) (12.6%) others 5 (0.3%) 3 (2%) respectively. The took much less time eat walk. It had significantly pain levels postoperative problems, well greater women’s satisfaction shorter hospital stay (p = 0.001). Conclusions: Collaboration nursing, obstetricians anesthesiologists cornerstone successful CS. Significant better encourage expansion resources.

Baricity of Bupivacaine on Maternal Hemodynamics after Spinal Anesthesia for Cesarean Section: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: After spinal anesthesia, patients undergoing cesarean section are more likely to develop hemodynamic changes. The baricity of local anesthetic has an important role on spinal blockade effects. The aim of this study was to compare the isobar and hyperbaric bupivacaine 0.5% plus fentanyl on maternal hemodynamics after spinal anesthesia for C/S.Methods: In this double-blind study, 84 h...
